The Boulder County Housing
Authority (BCHA) announces the opening of the application
process and waitlist for Bloomfield Place, a senior/disabled
community that has subsidized housing. They are located
at 722 5th Avenue in Lyons, Colorado. BCHA will begin
accepting applications at 3482 N. Broadway, Boulder Colorado
in the Sundquist Building on Wednesday August 06, 2008 until
further notice. Please call (303) 441-4529 if you have any

County earns six national awards for excellence and three
are for Boulder County Housing!
Boulder County has earned
six Achievement Awards from the National Association of
Counties (NACo) for a variety of programs that have
demonstrated measurable benefits within the county.
Housing Counseling
Foreclosure Prevention Program
- An outreach
effort to help homeowners make smart financial decisions and
avoid foreclosure.
Laurels Apartments
Renovation - a
Housing Authority-Workforce Boulder County project that
renovated affordable housing units while providing excellent
job training for participants in a work-skills development
program.
ClimateSmart Energy
Sweep - a
collaborative, door-to-door outreach that delivered energy
efficiency kits and education directly to residents in
Boulder and Longmont.

All classes are free and anyone is welcome to attend.
